Bev Cuckow

Bev is an active family man – 10 children (7 boys and 3 girls), who likes to make a difference in this world. In addition to consistently being one of Calgary’s top Realtor’s, he also spends many hours working with church groups, voluteer programs, and is a former director for the Alberta Mentor Foundation For Youth. He enjoys swimming, scuba diving, travelling, and has been known to eat a little more than he should at great family dinners! Bev has recently completed his first half marathon and lived to tell about it.

Bev was very helpful in staging my home for definite sell. It took 10 days and 3 offers to get the suitable offer for my home. Bev advised me on the best time to sell my home and took me around to check other properties I found with my requirements. The funniest of all during these properties’ visit was his GPS lady who was very firm and precise on the direction. When Bev tries to take a short cut she didn’t let it pass without correcting him. When Bev went on vacation (rarely happens) his partner Earl took over the responsibilities with precision and finalized the sale of my home. We also spent many miles in his tank (car) to visit new properties and give me his honest feedback on the spot. The best thing about Earl is his organization and knowing the city map in his head. No GPS was required with him.

Bev is very experienced in assessing the value of the home when it comes to pricing and got me the best price possible for my new property. Even when the inspection was done and defective items were less than 1% of the value of the home he got me some money back to cover some of the deficiencies the inspector found. The inspector he hired is very experienced and was very Thorough. He went over every corner in the house including the wall outlets to inspect.
The best of all is that his fee is smaller than regular realtors because he is independent. I didn’t have to pay an arm and a leg in real estate fees to sell my property.

I am very pleased with my experience with Bev Cuckow & associates and I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know.
